Position Summary:
Operates equipment in the manufacturing production area such as slitter, bonding mill, or rolling mill. Measure and check materials and parts essential to the manufacture and test of a given product. This may include, test equipment, inspect machines and other related equipment. Follows Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Performs various operations on a wide variety of parts, including complex, delicate parts of exacting tolerances.
- Must be able to work from prints and route cards.
- Inspect parts and gauge material.
- Set up and maintain various machines.
- Use various measuring instruments such as micrometers and verniers.
May perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.

Position Summary:
Provides strong commercial and program management support for EMS product lines. Develops marketing strategy, order forecasts and acquisitions of orders in assigned product lines. Would be expected to develop a strong understanding of EMS products, customers and markets.
Responsibilities:
- Accountability & ownership of assigned products and customer accounts.
- Manage commercial activities for all global accounts.
- Formulates forecasts for market penetration and order acquisition.
- Program management for new business programs.
- Identifies, analyzes, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.
- Work closely with sales agents, domestic and abroad, to coordinate sales activities.

Position Summary:
Provide direct Product Engineering function and technical support to a major manufacture of clad metal products
Responsibilities:
- Assume technical responsibility for a portfolio of clad thermostat metal products.
- Apply sound engineering judgment based on statistical analysis of data and fact to solve complex material, process, and equipment problems.
- Interface with external customers in support of production problems, application problems, and new business opportunities. Make sales calls with EMS Field Reps. in support of customers and new business opportunities as required.
- Support commercial team with technical evaluation of new business opportunities, product costing, sampling, and production startup.
- Responsible for internal and out-going product quality. Champion root cause / corrective action analyses. Analyze quality trends and identify/execute continuous improvement programs.
- Identify and implement cost reduction programs to eliminate waste and/or improve yields.
- Interface with all levels of the organization from direct support of manufacturing operators to upper levels of management.
- Timely support of manufacturing operations and personnel to resolve production and quality issues.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a very diverse and dynamic manufacturing environment.
Education and Experience:
BS/MS Degree in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering preferred
A minimum of 5 years direct related experience
Experience in metals manufacturing or heavy industrial environment preferred.
Strong business knowledge and ability to understand product and manufacturing costs
Knowledge of SPC and Process/Product Control Planning
Excellent written and verbal skill required

Position Summary:
Maintains, tests and troubleshoots plumbing systems. Performs master journey-level work in the installation, maintenance, inspections, modification, remodel and repair of mechanical plumbing equipment, hydraulic systems, and fixtures of water, gas, oil, steam, sewage, fire sprinkler/prevention, and refrigeration-related plumbing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains, repairs and installs plumbing and related fixtures and components
Cut, thread and weld pipes as necessary
Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings and pipes
Use of plumber’s tools such as snakes, wrenches, plungers, pipe threaders, as well as a variety hand and power tools.
Inspect work for compliance with building and safety codes and regulations
Respond to routine and urgent calls for repairs and service
Maintain good housekeeping of shop and tools

Position Summary:
Set up and operate a slitting machine to slit and/or trim a wide variety of clad and mono-metals to close tolerance. Handle material and package cuts for delivery to next operation.
Responsibilities:
Process material through slitter
Inspect and release slit material
Complete setups, routine maintenance, and other equipment related operations.
Adjust slitter to maintain tolerance and customer specification requirements
Identify and MQR all non-conformance material
Identify and correct areas of deficiency prior to the start of slitting, and while running
Assure thickness, width, burr and surface quality of the material meets the specified requirements
Accurately and consistently enter required data into computer systems.
Read and follow route cards, SOPs and other documents accurately.
Use hand-held measuring instruments, core cutter, camber bar, and other equipment as needed
Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in the area
May require use of forktruck and overhead crane and hoist systems
Wear all required PPE at all times

The operator is responsible for operating an Annealing Furnace. Clad metals and mono metals are heat treated through the furnace, and must be run continuously to prevent the production of adverse mechanical properties, or surface finishes caused by furnace stops.

- Set, monitor and regulate furnace controls to process materials as required by route card and/or SOP instructions
- Operate overhead cranes & fork trucks to move, load, & unload coils of material
- Follow production schedule as required
- Use material handling equipment and other rigging
- Perform peel testing of product
- Use hand tools and hand held measuring instruments
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Remove defective material from coils
- Use mechanical joiner to connect coil ends and allow coils to run without stops
- Complete production and material quality data logs as necessary
- Diagnose equipment & material problems; take corrective actions as necessary
- Learn procedures for start up/shut down the furnace
- Learn procedures for re-threading strip annealing lines
- Maintain work areas in clean and orderly fashion
- Assist in all clean ups and set ups for all furnaces
- Wear all required PPE at all times

Facilities Maintenance Technician
Position Summary:
Performs a variety of work in the facility related to low voltage systems. Responsibility of fire extinguishers, badge systems, surveillance equipment, network, and phone system, as well as equipment of a complex nature.
Senior technician level position to provide support for all low voltage control systems. This includes fire alarms, wet and dry sprinkler systems, CO2 and dry suppression, alarms, network wiring and racks, security, hydrogen and nitrogen gas systems. Daily duties include troubleshooting, performing control system performance analysis, implement control modifications in support of existing manufacturing processes.
A low voltage technician is responsible for monitoring and installing low-voltage cables and systems for electronic equipment and communication devices. Low voltage technicians analyze blueprints and schematics to connect the cables safely and accurately. They also conduct repairs for defective components and faulty wirings, recommending solutions and low-cost materials with high quality according to the customers’ needs and budget limitations. A low voltage technician must have excellent electrical and organizational skills, especially in performing duties with utmost adherence to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent hazards and operational delay.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Badge system and surveillance equipment
- Maintain fire extinguishers throughout EMS
- Manage and coordinate outside vendors to perform scheduled inspections or work
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems as necessary
- Observe, monitor, and record status of utility equipment
- Make routine, periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facility systems, and equipment.
- Assist other Repair & Maintenance personnel as required
- Operate and uses forktrucks, high lifts, scissors lift, and ladders as needed
- Maintains records of scheduled and emergency maintenance procedures.

Education and Experience:
- AS degree in relevant technology or equivalent experience
- Massachusetts Electrician’s license preferred, but not required
- 2-year Associate degree in related field – electronics, electrical and instrumentation
